A Hadiyah of Noor: Khataman Al-Qur'an
In honour of the Prophet's birth (SAS), we perform a complete recitation of the Holy Qur'an, sending its rahmah and blessings to you and your beloved arwah.
Who is this Hadiyah For?
🕯️ A Noor for Their Soul (Arwah)
As an act of ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), this khatam serves as a profound spiritual hadiyah for loved ones who have passed on.
🌿 A Barakah for Your Life
For yourself or other living family members, with the intention (niat) of seeking blessings, protection, healing (syifa’), and divine guidance from Allah (SWT).
Spiritual Merits for the Deceased (Arwah)
This act of remembrance is a beautiful expression of enduring love and prayer:
- A Prayer for Ease & Mercy (rahmah): It is hoped the recitation helps alleviate any hardship in the grave.
- Elevating Their Spiritual Station (darajat): The rewards may raise their rank and bring them closer to Allah's mercy in the hereafter.
- A Noor & Serenity: The divine light (noor) and tranquility of the Qur’an are believed to reach and comfort the soul.
FAQ
Can I submit multiple names at once?
One name/family name per submission (50 SGD). For additional names, please make separate submissions.
Can I include a short intention (niat) note?
Yes, you may include a brief intention with your submission (e.g., “for healing (syifa’)”, “for my late father”). It will be acknowledged and will accompany your dedicated name for the doa.
Is this for both the living and the deceased (arwah)?
Yes. Intentions can be for the living (seeking blessings, protection, healing, guidance) and for the deceased as an act of ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah).
Who will be performing the recitation?
The complete recitation of the Qur'an is collectively performed by dedicated Qur'an students at a religious school (madrasah). Your contribution not only serves as a spiritual hadiyah but also supports these students in their sacred journey of learning.
What do I receive and when?
You will receive a short video of the concluding doa (prayer) for the khatam. This will be sent to you within 2 weeks after the ceremony is completed.
When do submissions close?
As this project is held in honour of Maulidur Rasul, submissions will close on 4 September 2025 to allow time for preparations.
